Fudoki-no-Oka Work shop Center is attached to the Museum of Archaeology. It holds lectures and classes for adults and for families with elementary or junior high school students to learn crafts, including Jomon pottery.
It also holds hands-on learning classes, including making a fire in the ancient ways, for families, schools and any groups of people.
At the entrance hall a special exhibition is held once a year, and it contains the artifacts excavated from the historic sites around Fudoki-no-Oka.

You can enjoy the experience of making a fire in the ancient ways (for free) and making an ancient jewelry called magatama (There is an extra charge for materials).
