It has a total length of 169m and it is one of the largest of the burial mounds built in the same period in Eastern Japan.<br \/>\n Excavations revealed <em>haniwa<\/em> (clay image) lined up in the mound. Moreover, burial goods such as bronze mirrors, comma-shaped beads, a cylindrical bead, single-edged iron swords and double-edged iron swords, were discovered from the pit-style stone chamber in the
